User Data Deletion

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

At ExtraHandz, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what data we hold, what gets deleted, what must be legally retained, and exactly how to submit your request.

1. What Data ExtraHandz Holds

Depending on which ExtraHandz Agents and services you have used, we may hold the following categories of data associated with your account:

  • Business and account information (name, email, phone number, business address, website URL)
  • Third-party platform OAuth access tokens (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, WhatsApp)
  • WhatsApp conversation history with ExtraHandz Agents
  • Earl scan results and online presence reports generated for your business
  • Social media content drafted or published on your behalf by Jerry or other Agents
  • Billing and payment records (name, billing address, transaction history)
  • Support communications with the ExtraHandz team

2. What Gets Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, ExtraHandz will permanently delete the following within 30 days:

  • Your account profile and all associated business information
  • All third-party platform OAuth tokens — your connected Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, and WhatsApp accounts will be disconnected
  • WhatsApp conversation history stored on ExtraHandz servers
  • Earl scan data and all generated presence reports
  • Any content drafts, scheduled posts, or Agent-generated materials not yet published
  • Support ticket history associated with your account

Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered. If you wish to use ExtraHandz Services in the future, you will need to re-register and reconnect your accounts.

3. What Must Be Legally Retained

Certain data must be retained by ExtraHandz regardless of a deletion request in order to comply with applicable legal, financial, and regulatory obligations:

  • Billing and transaction records — retained for 7 years as required by IRS and applicable tax regulations
  • Records of your deletion request itself — retained to demonstrate compliance with privacy law
  • Data subject to active legal hold, litigation, or regulatory investigation

Retained data is stored securely, access-restricted, and used only for the legal purpose for which it is retained. It is not used for marketing, AI training, or any other operational purpose.

4. Third-Party Platform Data

ExtraHandz can only delete data stored within our own systems. When our Agents have posted content, responded to messages, or taken other actions on connected Third-Party Platforms on your behalf, that content exists on those platforms independently of ExtraHandz.

To remove content published to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, or WhatsApp, you will need to do so directly through each platform. We recommend taking the following steps at the time of your deletion request:

  • Remove ExtraHandz as a connected app from your Facebook and Instagram account settings
  • Revoke ExtraHandz access from your Google account security settings
  • Review and remove any scheduled posts or automations on your social media accounts

ExtraHandz will revoke all platform tokens on our end as part of the deletion process, which will immediately terminate our ability to access or act on your connected accounts.

5. How to Submit a Deletion Request

To request deletion of your data, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@extrahandz.com
  2. Use the subject line: User Data Deletion Request
  3. Include the following in the body of your email:
  • Your full business name
  • The email address and/or phone number associated with your ExtraHandz account
  • Confirmation that you are authorized to make this request on behalf of the account
  1. ExtraHandz will send a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your request within 2 business days
  2. We will complete the deletion and send a final confirmation within 30 days of your verified request

If we are unable to verify your identity or authorization, we may contact you for additional information before processing the request.

6. Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to ExtraHandz and wish to ensure all associated data is removed from our systems, you may submit a deletion request through either of the following methods:

  • Email us directly at support@extrahandz.com using the process described in Section 5 above
  • Use Facebook's built-in app removal flow: go to Facebook Settings > Security and Login > Apps and Websites, find ExtraHandz, and click Remove. This will trigger deletion of any Facebook-linked data we hold for your account.

Upon receiving a Facebook-initiated deletion request, ExtraHandz will process the deletion within 30 days and provide a confirmation code that can be used to verify the deletion was completed. This page serves as ExtraHandz's data deletion callback in compliance with Meta's platform policies.
