  • Creates and posts content on your Facebook Page.
  • Helps discover Facebook Groups related to your business.
  • Schedules posts automatically at your preferred times.
  • Lets you approve, skip, or regenerate posts via WhatsApp.
  • Soon: Monitors groups for potential leads and customer opportunities.

How to Use Jerry for Facebook

Follow the instructions below to get an idea of messages you can send Jerry to empower your Facebook page, with helpful screenshots. These are just examples -- Jerry is a smart AI agent that can handle messages in your own words. Feel free to experiment!

Creating a Text-Only Post

Steps

  • Type in your text-only post, e.g.
    “make me a post”.

  •  The contents of the post are available for approval

  •  Choose an option from the menu at the bottom

  •  After successful posting, you can click the provided link to view your post with your Facebook App. 

Creating a Post with AI-created Images  

Steps

  • Message: “Jerry, create a post with an image about our oil change special this week.”
  • Jerry will draft text + image and send it to you on WhatsApp.
  • Post ✅, cancel ❌, or ask Jerry for a different image with the same text.

  •  The contents of the post plus an AI-generated image are available for approval

  •  If you want to try a different image but use the same generated post content, choose ‘Different Image’

Posts with Custom Pictures  

Steps

  • Send Jerry one or multiple pictures with: “Create an ad using these photos.”
  • Full multi-photo support is available now.
  • Follow similar steps as above to post your message and image(s).

  • Attach one image to your message
  •  Attach multiple images to your message

Posts with a Custom Video

Steps

  • Send Jerry a custom video with: “create me a post with this video.”
  • Follow similar steps as above to post your message and video.
  • Attach one video to your message

Scheduling a Post

Steps

  • Message: “Schedule a weekly post on Monday at 8AM.”
  • Jerry will set it up a text-only post automatically.
  • ⚠️ Note: Scheduled posts go live automatically without review.
  • Examples:
    • Schedule a post for Monday at 8am
    • Schedule a post for Monday
    • Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday at 5pm

Turn Off Scheduling of Posts

Steps

  • Message: “Cancel scheduled posts”
  • Jerry will automatically turn off all scheduled posts. If you’d like to re-enable scheduled posting, follow the ‘Scheduling a Post’ section above.
  • Examples:
    • Cancel scheduled posts
    • Turn off scheduled posts

Creating an AI Image Post

Steps

  • Message: “Jerry, post about our weekend hours with an image.”
  • Jerry drafts an Instagram post with hashtags.
  • Approve, skip, or regenerate via WhatsApp.
  •  Note: since Instagram does not support text-only posts, an image must be AI-generated or uploaded.

Using Custom Images

Steps

  •  Send Jerry your photo(s) with: “Create an Instagram post using this image" 
  • Jerry formats the caption and hashtags around your content.
  • Examples:
    • Create a post with this image
    • If you want multiple images, follow the same procedure as above to upload multiple images.
  •  Choose Post to IG

  •  You will receive a link to your Instagram page and clicking it will take you there in the Instagram App 

Important Notes

  • Automatic Scheduling: Scheduled posts do not come for review — they go live at the scheduled time.
  • Quality Monitoring: ExtraHandz actively monitors all agent posts to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Beta Features: Group monitoring and advanced hashtag intelligence are coming soon.

 

Best Practices

  • Be specific in your instructions. (“Jerry, post about our brake repair special” works better than “Jerry, make a post.”)
  • Approve posts quickly to keep your content flow consistent.
  • Use custom photos when possible — posts with your real work and people perform better than stock images.
  • Utilizing Jerry for Facebook + Instagram posting together increases reach by 30–40% vs single-channel posting.
